How It Started

FanForge is the latest chapter in a long-running, ever-evolving story. We began years ago under the ZoltanGal banner, selling dragon figurines and fantasy collectibles at local conventions. Over time, we expanded — adding corsets, gothic accessories, pop culture pillows, toys, and anything else that sparked joy for our fellow fans.

Each phase reflected where the community — and our creativity — was headed.

Today, our focus is shirts and wearable fandom, pressed in-house and designed to turn heads (and spark inside jokes). FanForge grew from those early days, combining years of con experience with a love for retro, anime, sci-fi, horror, and niche pop culture.

What hasn’t changed?

We’re still family-run, community-driven, and deeply rooted in convention life.

At FanForge, we bring your favourite fandoms to life — one shirt, hoodie, and quirky accessory at a time.

We’re a family-run business based in Calgary, Alberta, with deep roots in geek culture, retro nostalgia, and convention life. What started as a love of horror, sci-fi, and pop culture collectibles through our sister site ZoltanGal.com grew into something even bigger: a place where fans can gear up in style, whether they’re repping classic 80s movies, anime icons, or that “inside joke” only con-goers understand.
